It is a great resource to have a talented person who can lead workshops in drama and puppetry so effectively! I highly recommend Siw Elena! Students in my third-grade class were delighted to have Siw Elena guide them in a full-day workshop where they could explore the world of drama and puppetry. We have a unit of inquiry about how performing arts help people to express themselves and their cultures. Siw Elena’s workshop was very active and engaging. She encouraged students to be creative and expressive with their faces, voices and bodies. She tailored the workshop to meet the needs of the students’ ages and interests. Siw Elena is also a talented puppet master. The kids loved seeing some of the puppets she had created and were amazed to see how easy it is to make a puppet out of just about anything.
